CADCA invites you to a special edition of their Research Into Action webinar series. On Friday, Sep 27, 2019, at 02:30 PM (ET, Washington, DC time), Dr. Annie Neimand and Dr. Ann Christiano of the Center for Public Interest Communications at the University of Florida will offer a presentation entitled, "The Science of What Makes People Care." The scientific evidence is piling up: people don’t act on information; they act on what they care about the most. Researchers at the Center for Public Interest Communications distilled six core principles from behavioral, cognitive, and social science that participants can apply to help people care more about their work. In this lively webinar, participants learn to use these rules to their work and leave with a science-based framework for approaching new communications challenges.
Following the presentation by Dr. Neimand and Dr. Christiano, CADCA’s Evaluation and Research team will ask a few questions about their research’s direct applications for coalition work and will allow participants to ask questions as well. The webinar will be recorded and made available online following the interview.
